Calling all Communities
In 2009, U.S. Cellular awarded $10,000 to ten schools through the Calling All Communities Contest.
We launched a Facebook tab for U.S. Cellular to promote the contest. We created a city-building simulation game, that let users build and manage the school of their dreams complete with almost anything they could think of. For example, users could click and drag theme parks, sports auditoriums, or a Tyrannosaurus Rex onto the grid to spend $100,000 on their school. After playing, users can click to learn they could win $100,000 and turn their dream school into a reality.
